Great
work so far with your blogs they are really coming along. Remember you should now have two posts
created and posted to your blog. The
first post was on snow days and the second was a response to the article on how
you think blogs can help you. You are
now learning the U.S. constitution in preparation to meet all the requirements
for graduation. Are the Bill of Rights
outdated? This is the question that will
drive our class for the next few sessions.
We only physically meet once a week so our blogs will serve as our best
means of communication. Attached our
two resources that will help you learn about the Bill of Rights. Bill of Rights Video and Bill
of Rights text. These resources will
help you learn about the Bill of Rights and help you think critically about our
question. If you could remove one law
from the Bill of Rights and enter a new law would you? You must be able to explain the new law and
its importance. You will then explain
which law you removed and why. You must
find two credible sources that support your argument. We will be working on this for the next five
class sessions. I cannot wait to hear
your ideas.

Welcome to the Wonderful World of Blogging...
Welcome! If you are reading this
then you successfully created your blog and are ready to begin! I want your first post to discuss your point
of view on snow days: “Would you rather not have school on snow days and make
them up in June or would you rather we have school and not lose class time?” State your argument and explain your point of
view in two paragraphs or less. You must
also follow at least 5 of your classmates and respond to their post on snow
days. I cannot wait to read your
blogs!!!
"The function of education is to teach one to think intensively and to think critically. Intelligence plus character that is the goal of true education."
